Julie Silver is The Vitality Fairy, a qualified nutritional therapist, stress management & wellness coach, also author of Food Awakening – Nutrition for NOW paperback & Kindle and Fertility Naturally e-book.

“I incorporate nutrition, natural health and mindfulness for physical and mental health into the corporate wellness programs that I run. I also offer one-to-one nutrition, healthy living and cooking coaching, workshops and seminars”.

After a very stressful period in Julie’s life she decided to start a new path by studying holistic therapies, stress management and nutrition. Julie gained diplomas in nutrition, stress management and holistic therapies. Followed by extensive professional experience in health and well-being Julie has inspired and empowered others to live their best and healthiest life and has also shared her knowledge with large organisations such as Ikea as well as on TV and radio.

“I met Joni from the Business & IP Centre at a business exhibition in the Manchester Conference Centre and she told me about a day of workshops for businesses coming up at the library that sounded great! I was eager to get any insights to run my business in a better way and meet like-minded people. It can be very isolating working for yourself so I always like to meet and chat with others that work for themselves. It’s great to bounce ideas off others and find out what is working and not working for them”.

“I found the staff to be so welcoming and encouraging which was refreshing and reassuring. I didn’t actually realise the library had so much to offer those that were self-employed. I’ve attended a couple of one-day workshops and a Christmas party event. I made more contacts, learned more about my business and it motivated me to do things I may not have been able to do on my own. Even changing the way I used LinkedIn was beneficial as that was one of the topics covered on a workshop”.

Future plans for Julie are to continue her corporate work and running workshops to help people with their wellbeing, stress management, and mindfulness to improve physical and mental health.

“Maybe running more things online and creating a membership scheme to empower people how to become healthier in an enjoyable and easy way. I am open to collaborate with others and do whatever I felt would be beneficial to help anyone that wanted to improve and enjoy a better quality of life”.
